Ashley Chum manages the CLEAR Center’s social media accounts and has a passion for sharing information and educating others on sustainability in animal agriculture. She is responsible for creating content and reaching the CLEAR Center’s diverse audience of agriculture producers, enthusiasts, policy makers and the general public. 

She enjoys nurturing online relationships and building trust through community management and believes there is no better way to communicate science in an accessible manner than through social media. Prior to joining UC Davis, Ashley held various titles in marketing such as marketing coordinator, marketing specialist, content specialist and her favorite – social media manager. 

Aside from scrolling through her social feeds day in and day out, Ashley looks forward to trying cold brews at different coffee shops every weekend with her little family. She also enjoys taking spontaneous day trips to Truckee and Lake Tahoe for a breath of fresh air and the sights. More recently, she has taken up building floral Legos to decorate around her home because she can’t seem to keep any of her real ones alive. 

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in creative writing from Sonoma State University and three Associate of Arts degrees.
